KW really enjoyed sharing their classroom and work with their family after their assembly :) Thank you all for coming in!
A huge thank you to all the parents and family members who attended our exhibition. For those who couldn't make it here are a couple of videos and some photos of our work. We hope you enjoy them. What better way to learn about halves and quarters than with Fairy Bread! KD did a wonderful job at hosting their first ever whole school assembly. Be sure to take a look at the video below to see Heads Shoulders Knees and Toes sung in 3 different languages :O) Throughout the term, we have been fortunate enough to have Mr West take us for ball skills and games, as well as gymnastics, through the Sporting Schools Program. We love our time with Mr West!
The children had a wonderful day at the AFL skills day! They were engaged and active the whole time. They gained and practised a variety of skills and had a lot of fun! Thank you to JD and his team for such great organisation and thanks also to the High School students who did a wonderful job of guiding the students at each activity station. The first week of Term 2 included many fun activities involving dinosaurs. We made dinosaurs, dinosaur eggs, dinosaur patterns, dinosaur shelters, sang dinosaur songs and made dinosaur music. The highlight was the 'Dinosaur Dig' on Friday. Our budding paleontologists had a wonderful hour at North Broulee beach excavating dinosaur bones and constructing a dinosaur skeleton.
Each Monday afternoon six Kindergarten children help Ms Hanks in our school vegetable garden. We keep track of the children who have had a turn so each Kindergarten child will get a chance to take part in this wonderful learning opportunity.
